Register Soon on the Schedule

When a registration code is entered into the schedule the session line reads “Register Now” whether a session is active or not. This feature can be updated to say “Register Soon” until registration is open. At which time it will automatically change to “Register Now.”

Auto-Reply Emails from Request More Information Form

An Automatic Reply Email can be set up to respond to clients who use the Request More Information form that can be added to the Membership page and/or Branch Home pages. This confirmation message is a courtesy to visitors to let them know their email has been sent successfully. The message could be, "Thank you for contacting the (YMCA Association)! A representative will be contacting you within one business day."

“Branch Specific” Programs Feature for Branch Home Page

Now it’s easy to instantly see all the programs that are currently available at a specific branch. All the consumer or YMember has to do is click on one of the Core Services listed in the middle of a Branch Home Page, and all the programs currently scheduled at that branch will appear. They can click further to see a description of any class or program and get the schedule page just for that branch. All of this information pulls from the main database, so there is absolutely no additional entries that have to be made in PeaShooter.

Edit Session Anchor

In previous versions, clicking the "Edit" button for a session sent you to the top of a page. This was an annoyance when working with classes that had many sessions. Now when editing a class, the system will take you to the session you are editing.

Drop from Schedule Early and Date Validation

Currently, Sessions stay on the schedule until the "session end date". With the Drop from Schedule Early feature you can choose a date, at set-up, to have the Session be automatically removed from the Schedule. This accommodates some sessions that regularly fill up early, like Aquatics, and eliminates the long list that can cause a consumer to have to scroll. Many other classes are preferred to remain on the schedule, as late registrations are welcomed. Now you have the choice to make that decision at time of entry.

With the new Date Validation feature, you cannot accidentally end a Class before it begins, drop a Class after it's over, or drop a Continual Session. This has been added as a helpful feature for accuracy.

Continual Sessions: Classes that are offered year round.

Currently in PeaShooter, a start and end Date must be added for each session. This allows the system to show visitors current sessions while maintaining a historical record of sessions, which has caused issues when a class ran all year long. The Continued Sessions check box fixes this. In PeaShooter, a check box is added underneath the Date selector. When checked, Date information is replaced with the message: “Continual Sessions” on the client side of the site. Since there is no end date, the session will never expire.

Time Varies Check Box: Classes that do not have fixed times

The first version of the PeaShooter system required start and end times to be added for each Session. This new feature allows a Session to be scheduled without time information. By checking the box labeled “Times Vary” when adding or editing a Session, the message “Times Vary” will be placed on the schedule instead of the standard start and end times.

Current Number of Sessions on Schedule

The first version of PeaShooter Manager displays the number of scheduled sessions for each class in the system. That's the entire historical record, not just the current and future sessions. This new feature displays the number of Current sessions and the total number of sessions stored in the system history. This shows up on the Program Schedule Manager, in the Categories and Classes list.

Detailed Approval Stamping

If you click on the Lists tab of PeaShooter, and then View Entire Program Schedule, one of the pieces of information displayed there is who entered each session and when. It is now possible to add what time that session was added along with the date. A separate column shows who approved it to go live and the date and time of the approval.

Recenter Map for Remote Child Care Locations

The Child Care map can be re-centered on remote locations that would normally be out of range of the main map on a Category by Category basis. Example: A YMCA Child Care site is located in another market like Yuma, AZ and the Association is in Phoenix. We can now have that category default to the city of Yuma.
